David Trent, DDS, MD, is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon focused on the care of children and young adults.
He plays an integral role with the clinical development team at Kids Care, driving innovation and maintaining best practices for the doctor group.
Dr. Trent received his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco and his medical degree from the University of California, Davis. He continued with his general surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery training at University of California, San Francisco. Following his residency, Dr. Trent completed a surgical fellowship in pediatric cleft and craniomaxillofacial surgery. In addition to his clinical practice at Kids Care, Dr. Trent is on staff at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland and is an associate professor in the department of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Trent enjoys playing the guitar, traveling, running, and biking.
